Although the idea of taking warm water often throughout the day might have gone clichéd, it continues to work for anyone and everyone. Ayurveda suggests different ways of consuming this health beverage for the purpose of weight loss.

Add one teaspoon of honey with two to four teaspoons of lemon juice to a glass of lukewarm water. Mix it well and have it on an empty stomach every morning. This helps in reducing the cellulite in our body. You can also add half a teaspoon of black pepper powder to this.

Add a tablespoon of Triphala powder to a glass of water, and leave it overnight. Early morning next day, let this mixture boil until it reduces to half the amount. Take it off the burner, filter it and let it go lukewarm. Add two teaspoons of honey in this and consume it on an empty stomach. This is an easy home remedy for weight loss.

Have a glass of warm water, before as well as half to one hour after lunch and dinner. This is also helpful in reducing dark under- eye circles, curing stomach and other gastric diseases. It also reduces the belly fat which usually shows up on women, post- childbirth.
